Elevated to Critical fire conditions will be over the plains this afternoon with the worst conditions near the Wyoming border where winds will gust up to 35 mph at times. Elsewhere across the plains the winds will be lighter. Over the higher terrain wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible.
