* Until 245 PM MDT.

* At 157 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Arvada, or 14
miles northwest of Denver, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

Northern Lakewood, Thornton, Arvada, Westminster, Broomfield,
northwestern Commerce City, Northglenn, Brighton, Wheat Ridge,
Lafayette, northern Golden, Louisville, Erie, Superior, Federal
Heights, Rocky Flats, Todd Creek and Mountain View.

Information:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing large hail.

Details:
At 150 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Arvada, or 11 miles northwest of Denver, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Denver, western Aurora, Lakewood, Thornton, Arvada, Westminster,
Commerce City, Northglenn, Brighton, Wheat Ridge, Golden, Federal
Heights, Edgewater, Mountain View and Henderson.
